One day when we got home from grocery shopping Dante decided he would lay down and fall asleep. . well more like stand and fall asleep.

Halloween

A couple days before halloween we carved pumnpkins. I helped dante with his and at first he was all into getting the seeds out then out of no where he wouldnt do it anymore. He kept picking up a seed and saying "Ew gross" and then chucked it on the floor it was pretty funny. After we finished our pumpkins we put them outside to freeze. We couldnt keep our pumpkins inside cuz they would go bad faster.
They day before halloween we herd they were giving out candy at fred meyer so we got dante all dressed up and took him there. When we got there they werent giving out candy like we thought. They just had a bowl of candy on a table with a picture you can color for the contest. We also saw that they were ganna have a costume contest and  we thought dante had a pretty good chance of winning cuz of how cute he looked. So we stayed there another couple of hours so he could enter. Well the contest was just pick a name out of a bowl but dante did win. He got a gift card for $25 so we took him to pick out a toy. On our way home from are almost all day outting at fred meyers Dante fell asleep.
On Halloween It was really cold and snow covered the ground but we knew we had to take him to at least a couple houses. We went to our next door neighbor then got in the car on drove to 2 of daws friends houses. then we came home. It was freezing and at all the house they gave dante a hand full of candy so we decided that he got the idea haha.

Anchorage trip

Our first road trip was so much fun. Everything went good and we didn't spend as much as we thought we would which is always good :D. When we got to anchorage we found our hotel then went straight to the mall. You have to understand, the mall in Fairbanks is smaller then a grocery store. It has maybe ten stores and the only big clothing store in it is American eagle. So we all where very excited to have more choices. While we were at the mall we just went to the food court and had dinner. After that we went back to the hotel and crashed. We all had a really long day. 6:00 am rolls around and the FIRE ALARM goes off. So me and daws get up and look out the door to see if anyone else is getting up. 5 mins pass.. still no one... 10 mins pass and finally a little old couple walk out of there room and see daws and ask "Is that the fire alarm?" lol so after that we wake Dante up (who has been sleeping this whole time) and we go down to our friends room to wake them up and they didn't answer. So we go down to the lobby where everybody else is and just stand there. Finally the front desk girl says that its not a fire and the maintenance guy lives next door so he will be here in a min. We stand there for another 5 mins and then they tell us we have to go outside. We go out side and its raining so we stand there for a couple more mins waiting for our friends who finally make there way down. We decided to go wait in the car so we went and watched a movie. Another ten mins go by and the fire truck finally decided to show up. We sit there for about 20 mins and then we got to go back up to our rooms. None of us could go back to sleep so we just watched TV and got ready. We had plans to go the zoo that day but it was raining so we just went to some other stores then back to the mall. Later that day we took Dante to chucky cheese for dinner. He loved playing the games. I have to say that the shows aren't very good anymore. They didn't even have all the people. Now all it is is chucky that sings to a video. BORING lol. So after that we just went home and went straight to bed again. We woke up the next morning and started heading home. Even though the trip was just a short one, it was still really nice to get back home to our house. :D

Dantes birthday

He is 2 he is 2 he is 2!!!

Dante turns 2 today!! We are so proud of him. He is the smartest little boy ever and we are so lucky to be his parents!! this morning when we woke up he started singing "Happy birfday to you/me" lol he is very excited for today. I'm planning on taking him to mcdonalds for lunch and then we will go pick out a birthday toy for him. If the playgrounds arent wet from the rain yesterday i will take him to the park as well. Then later we are having are friends over to eat pizza and cake. :). HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY BOY!

The Alaskan fair

On this fine alaskan day we got invited to go the fair so we decided to since it was the BIG state fair/ the only event they have all year. It was like any other fair. We got a funnel cake and a frozen banana dipped in chocolate.. yum. While we were there it started raining so we just sat under the tents until it stopped raining. After it stopped we decided to go because it was getting cold. On our walk out i decided to let dante get out of his stroller (bad idea) he went running to the first puddle he saw and jumped in it, getting all the people standing by it wet. The only way I could get him to leave the puddle was tell him "Look there is another puddle over there". I had to lead him out of the fair by puddles. Alot of people stopped and just watched him splash in all the puddles and laughed. He was having a blast. After we finally got to our car we started getting ready to leave, getting dante undressed and put in the car, putting the stroller in the trunk ect. While doing this.. This cross-eyed bum smoking a cigarette came about 5 feet from dawson and just stood there. I Think he was just staring at us but i couldnt really tell since he was cross-eyed. ha. He stood there for a good 5 mins and didnt say anything. We just sat and looked at friends. The guy finaly walks away and disapears around the cornor. As soon as he was out of site we all just started laughing. Reality check.. we are in alaska now.

Blonde momment

So this is hilarious and pretty much the dumbest thing i have ever done. So once upon a time me and dawson where driving in the car and we were stopped at a stop light. We were the first car and I was just looking around and I notice this sign next to the stop lights. It has an arrow pointing straight and then under neath it says on y. I sat there and thought to myself "what does that mean?" " Straight on yellow?" " no, why would you go straight on yellow". After maybe 5 mins of thinking to myself i finally ask dawson "babe why does that sign say straight on y?" and he looks at me and says "are you serious babe? look at the other signs" so i slowly look up at the other signs and i still dont get it. Daws says "honey, the L fell off of ONLY" hahaha we couldnt stop laughing for the whole drive home and now everytime we pass the sign he looks at me and giggles. Biggest blonde moment i have ever had. thats why i just had to share it. :)

Dante LOVES playing at the park. We got lucky and we have 3 huge playgrounds behind our house. He was in heaven. Him and his daddy were having so much fun.
